Mr Simon Williams - Simon ('Sam') Williams has loyally served the Actors' Charitable
Trust and Denville Hall for more than 30 years, including 15 years as joint Chairman
with Angela Thorne. He also donates his time and expertise to the Sir Terence Rattigan
Charitable Trust, the King George V Fund for Actors and Actresses, as well as several
other charities .

J Slack Bsc - Retired (2011) secondary teacher, author, honorary Rotarian, museum
trustee & local hockey club president. SPMS sufferer.
Mr G Epps - A Kent based restaurateur he is a keen supporter of local charity. He
has a family member afflicted with a muscle wasting disease, two of his colleagues
are multiple sclerosis sufferers and one other colleague sufferers from Ankylosing
Spondylitis. The experiences of his colleagues prompted him to become involved in
helping others
Mrs E Jones - A retired commercial reference librarian aged 65 - has MS, osteoporosis
& epilepsy. Mrs Jones lives independently in Worcester Park. She is a dedicated researcher
and campaigner networking with other sufferers to bring their situation to public
attention.
Dr D Price - Retired Physicist who has metamorphosed into a property manager as a
retirement project, became involved in Proventus, as a member, when his wife became
increasingly disabled due to the ravages of MS. When his wife died, not from MS directly
but as a result of inactivity from living in a wheelchair, he resolved to become
even more actively involved in endeavouring to find a cure for MS and empowering
sufferers to manage their condition, a continuing aspiration as he joined his colleagues
as a trustee.
Mr C Simmonds - Bafta award winning film director who has forty years experience
as a broadcast documentary and current affairs producer/director and cares for a
wife with MS.’

Dr R Woolley MBE - Retired Industrialist.
Mrs S Woolley MBE - Retired industrialist and a Person with MS. Awarded an MBE for
her charity work which she has been involved in for 40 years her continuing aspiration
is to support autoimmune disease sufferers.
Mr B Fryer Secretary - A father of four daughters a grandfather of 9 grand children
and of two great grand children. Brian is 74 in August 2011 and for the past few
years been secretary of Proventus. Despite suffering from cancer in the glands and
after treatment and yearly checks is cancer clear. He has COPD and has to use oxygen
most times during the day. As an enthusiastic human rights and voluntary charity
colleague he brings common sense and humour to the table.He is also a member of the
local Probus club and an Honorary member of a Masonic organisation.
