Grave’s Disease - An autoimmune disease characterised by hyperthyroidism due to circulating autoantibodies.

Typically, Graves disease is a disease of young women, but it may occur in persons of any age. The typical age range is 20-40 years. Most affected women are aged 30-60 years.

Graves' Disease is a form of hyperthyroidism, meaning that the body's thyroid gland overproduces thyroid hormones, leading to a range of symptoms. This condition appears more commonly in women than in men, and typically appears in women over age 20.
