MS Case Study -Although I have suffered MS for 35 years it was not diagnosed until
ten years ago when I was 49 years of age.
Initially it was ‘Relapsing Remitting MS’ but following a time of immense stress
it became more virulent and I was victim to many of the well known regressive and
damaging symptoms.
Constantly to be told – “There is no treatment and there is no cure. Learn to live
with it”, was deeply frustrating and made me incredibly angry. My own search for
treatment or a cure led me to Aimspro. I am overwhelmed by the treatment to discover
some recovery and some restoration of an improved life. My upturn was initially in
just feeling so much better and losing the patches of complete exhaustion.
Other things began to correct themselves almost imperceptibly: the pins and needles
gradually disappeared from hands and arms, slowly fine movement returned to the fingers,
balance improved making walking more stable and driving more confident. My upturn
was initially in just feeling so much better and losing the patches of complete exhaustion.
As others began to notice it was obvious that changes were actual and certainly not
imagined. Now, able to walk at least one mile, it had been 210 steps before, and
feeling strength increasing throughout my body I can allow myself the pleasure of
looking for improvements. Although recent high temperatures have been a frightening
set back and rendered my body quite limp, the recovery during cooler weather has
shown continued improvements.
Although every day activities such as going upstairs, not dropping objects and being
able to hold a pen are a wonderful relief, the greatest achievement is in no longer
having to witness my own physical demise but instead being able to assist the drug
in its restoration of my health.
