Past Medical History
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - right hand when age 20 yrs
- Sterilisation when age 33 yrs
- Mercury amalgam fillings.
- 4 pregnancies - carried 2 to full term deliveries
Symptoms
- Bell’s Palsy when aged 19 yrs which improved with steroid therapy.
- Three to four months later one of her legs became limp. This was followed by Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome.
- Herbal treatment for eighteen months was followed by remission for five to six years,
then symptoms resumed with progression.
- In three years both legs became “heavy”. There was altered sensation in her hands,
and her micturition (urination) had increased to 17 times daily.
- Walking distance with assistance was 2 - 3 yards.
- She had brisk Patellar tendon reflexes.
- She also demonstrated intention spasms.

She has had intercurrent infection involving long term antibiotics, which seem to
have minimally helped her co-ordination in the last 4 - 6 months.
Her general mood is good and she has had no progression of MS Noted as up to 18 Sept
