Body Systems                                                                                                                                                                                             

The Human Body - Is composed of numerous systems and multiple pathways pathways each fulfilling their own vital functions while interacting with each other.

It is the entire structure of a human organism, and consists of:

• The head
• The neck
• The torso
• Two arms
• Two legs

At adulthood, the body consists of close to 50 trillion cells. These cells are organised biologically to eventually form the whole body.

The organ systems of the body include:

• The musculoskeletal system
• The cardiovascular system
• The digestive system
• The endocrine system
• The integumentary system
• The urinary system
• The lymphatic system
• The immune system
• The respiratory system
• The nervous system
• The reproductive system
