The Immune System
Your body’s system of protecting itself against invading microbes such as bacteria, viruses and other foreign cells as well as its own cells that have gone awry.
The immune system is made up of some molecules and various cells which use various pathways within the circulatory system and the lymphatic system to transport themselves around the body.
The immune system cells seek out foreign bodies that do not belong inside the body, once encountered they are attacked by the immune system cells which disable and kill the perceived invader.
